Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and conduct daily maintenance and inspections to maintain aircraft airworthiness.
  • Communicate any unusual situations requiring adjustments to the Lead Mechanic.
  • Manage the maintenance of all assigned aircraft, ensuring safety and security of all company assets.
  • Prepare reports and certify aircraft logs and maintenance forms, ensuring FAA and manufacturer standards are met.
  • Handle work entries and logs in RAMCO, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Communicate effectively with the Lead Mechanic and relevant team members to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Manage inventory, recommending changes in parts levels as needed.
  • Ensure all special tools are calibrated and maintained.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic.
  • Proficient communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including a functional capacity exam and drug screening.
  • Travel flexibility, with frequent travel required.
  • Ability to work night shifts and on the Roving Maintenance Team, possess sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting/repair skills.
