Our client, a leading air medical service provider, is searching for motivated mechanics with a passion for precision and reliability. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring each helicopter in our fleet is always prepared to respond to emergencies, potentially making the difference between life and death. Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and perform daily maintenance and inspection requirements, ensuring the airworthiness of all aircraft.
  • Advise the Lead Mechanic of any unusual situations requiring changes in schedules, aircraft, additional manpower, or technical aid.
  • Manage and maintain all assigned aircraft at field bases, oversee stock levels, and requisition necessary spares for timely repairs.
  • Certify, document, and prepare reports on maintenance work and ensure compliance with the FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.
  • Execute entries in RAMCO, handling work packages, status sheets, removals, and installations.
  • Communicate effectively with Lead Mechanic and other relevant parties to ensure efficient job completion.
  • Maintain parts inventory, recommend level changes, and ensure timely calibration of special tools.
  • Undertake miscellaneous duties as needed to serve the organization's goals.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant endorsements.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Mechanic.
  • Basic communication and necessary computer skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including strength tests, and a drug and background screening.
  • For mechanics on the Roving Maintenance Team, skills in sheet metal repair or avionics troubleshooting/repair are required.
  • Flexibility to travel frequently and work night shifts as needed.
