Responsibilities:
- Inspect and Repair: Masterfully evaluate and repair aircraft airframe and powerplant, ensuring all components meet stringent safety standards.
- Maintain Precision: Conduct precise and reliable maintenance tasks to keep the fleet operational for critical missions.
- Troubleshoot: Utilize sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting skills to address complex issues promptly.
- Adhere to Protocols: Operate in compliance with FAA regulations and internal procedures to uphold the highest safety standards.
- Travel and Adapt: Travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, to perform maintenance tasks and handle unexpected repairs. Be willing to work night shifts as dictated by maintenance events.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic.
- Basic communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer applications relevant to aviation maintenance.
- Ability to pass pre-placement physical and functional capacity exams, including strength and flexibility assessments.
- Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds.
- Clean drug and background screening.
- Experience with sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting is preferred.
- Willingness to join Roving Maintenance Team and travel extensively.
