About the Opportunity:
Are you an experienced aircraft mechanic eager to make a difference in the world of emergency air medical services? Our client, the leading air ambulance provider in the U.S., is on the lookout for a skilled A&P-licensed mechanic with over two years of certification experience to ensure the airworthiness of their state-of-the-art aircraft. Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate daily maintenance or inspection requirements, ensuring airworthiness.
- Notify Lead Mechanic of unexpected situations necessitating schedule adjustments.
- Manage aircraft maintenance at field bases, including reviewing stock levels and requisitioning necessary spares.
- Prepare reports and personally certify maintenance work in accordance with FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.
- Ensure entries in RAMCO are accurate for work packages and status updates.
- Maintain clear communication with team members to facilitate efficient job completion.
- Manage parts inventory and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Oversee and schedule calibration of company-provided special tools.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
- Minimum of two years of maintenance experience as a certified mechanic.
- Basic communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to pass pre-placement physical exams, drug screening, and background checks.
- For Roving Maintenance Team: skills in sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work night shifts as needed.
