About the Opportunity:
Are you an experienced aircraft mechanic eager to make a difference in the world of emergency air medical services? Our client, the leading air ambulance provider in the U.S., is on the lookout for a skilled A&P-licensed mechanic with over two years of certification experience to ensure the airworthiness of their state-of-the-art aircraft. Responsibilities:
  • Review and evaluate daily maintenance or inspection requirements, ensuring airworthiness.
  • Notify Lead Mechanic of unexpected situations necessitating schedule adjustments.
  • Manage aircraft maintenance at field bases, including reviewing stock levels and requisitioning necessary spares.
  • Prepare reports and personally certify maintenance work in accordance with FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.
  • Ensure entries in RAMCO are accurate for work packages and status updates.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members to facilitate efficient job completion.
  • Manage parts inventory and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Oversee and schedule calibration of company-provided special tools.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Minimum of two years of maintenance experience as a certified mechanic.
  • Basic communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to pass pre-placement physical exams, drug screening, and background checks.
  • For Roving Maintenance Team: skills in sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work night shifts as needed.
