Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and conduct daily maintenance and inspection requirements to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
- Alert Lead Mechanic of any unusual situations that require scheduling or manpower adjustments.
- Oversee aircraft maintenance at field bases, manage stock levels, and requisition parts as needed.
- Certify work completion on aircraft logs, reports, and maintenance forms as per FAA and company standards.
- Handle entries in RAMCO, including work packages and installations.
- Maintain communication with Lead Mechanic and other agents for seamless job execution.
- Manage parts inventory and maintain special tools, performing calibrations as necessary.
- Execute varied related duties as they arise.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in maintenance as a Certified Mechanic.
- Basic communication skills and proficiency in computer operations.
- Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including strength and flexibility assessments, as well as drug and background screenings.
- Sheet metal repair and/or Avionics troubleshooting skills for the Roving Maintenance Team.
- Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to night shifts when required.
