Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and close projects to achieve company objectives, budgets, and timelines.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, quality, and procurement.
  • Define project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with business and FAA requirements.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, risk assessment, and progress tracking.
  • Monitor budgets and cost control to ensure profitability and financial alignment.
  • Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Manage vendor and subcontractor performance, including change orders and contractual deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 quality management systems and safety standards.
  • Provide regular progress reports to executive leadership on KPIs, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, cost management, and process optimization.
  • Uphold FAA, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures.

 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, Business, or a related field.
  • PMP certification (Project Management Professional) required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within manufacturing or aviation (MRO, aerospace production, component overhaul, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of production workflows, supply chain, and aviation compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent project management tools.
