About the Opportunity:

Join our client's dynamic team as a Business Development & Customer Relationship Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving growth within the aerospace, aviation, defense, and advanced composites industries. Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across general aviation, commercial aviation, defense, UAV, and advanced air mobility markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue, margin, and pipeline targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with aerospace OEMs, Tier suppliers, and strategic partners.
  • Manage the full business development lifecycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Promote advanced composite solutions, including carbon fiber, fiberglass, and structural components.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align customer needs with company capabilities.
  • Lead technical discussions with customers regarding material selection and application development.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging composite technologies.
  • Represent the company at industry events and maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.

 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or technical sales within aerospace, aviation, defense, composites, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of developing new accounts and closing technical product opportunities.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace composite materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working with aerospace OEMs and Tier suppliers.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, sales forecasting, and business reporting.
  • Willingness to travel for professional engagements.
