About the Opportunity:

Responsibilities
- Prepare and paint aircraft, support equipment, and related components.
- Apply coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other painting equipment.
- Remove old paint using liquid paint removers, scraping tools, and other approved methods.
- Sand and smooth surfaces using sandpaper and steel wool.
- Treat aluminum surfaces with acid solutions and steel wool to improve paint adhesion.
- Mask and cover areas that should not be painted.
- Apply aircraft insignia, letters, and numerals using stencils.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience preparing and painting aircraft, support equipment, and related components.
- Specialization in one or more of the following SCA occupational codes:
- 23740 – Painter, Aircraft
- 05310 – Automotive Painter
- Completion of at least one of the following courses:
- Aircraft Paint Touch Up and Markings Course (N-701-0014)
- Aircraft Paint/Finish Course (C-600-3182)
- U.S. citizenship required.
