About the Opportunity

Join our client, a prominent Part 135 commuter and on-demand private charter operator, as an Aircraft Scheduling Manager. As an integral part of the Scheduling and Dispatch Leadership Team, you'll lead and inspire a dynamic team to efficiently orchestrate crew and aircraft scheduling, ensuring top-notch service delivery in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor Scheduling Supervisors and team members to create a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Cultivate a customer-focused culture to exceed client needs and ensure high levels of satisfaction and service.
  • Lead the hiring process by recruiting top talent and onboarding new hires effectively.
  • Continuously improve training materials and programs to boost employee performance.
  • Manage team schedules for full-time, part-time, and on-call positions to meet operational needs.
  • Complete biweekly payroll for the scheduling team.
  • Address seasonal staffing changes to ensure adequate coverage across shifts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Service teams to meet operational objectives.
  • Foster communication to maintain efficiency and alignment across the organization.
  • Evaluate and update departmental policies and procedures for efficiency and compliance.
  • Participate in safety management system data analysis to improve safety and performance metrics.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Scheduling and Dispatch.
  • Regular on-call duties to oversee scheduling needs.


Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in Scheduling and Dispatch.
  • FAA Dispatch license preferred.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Experience with aviation scheduling software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs. occasionally and comfortable with prolonged periods at a desk.
