Responsibilities:

Lead Strategic Procurement
-Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for aviation aftermarket parts, focusing on cost-effectiveness and quality.

Manage Vendors and Suppliers
-Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, MROs, and aftermarket suppliers to ensure timely delivery and favorable terms.

Negotiate Contracts
-Lead negotiations for distribution agreements and purchasing contracts aligned with company goals and industry regulations.

Team Oversight

-Mentor and guide the purchasing department, set performance metrics, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Oversee Inventory
-Monitor and forecast inventory levels to avoid shortages and overstock; work with logistics to streamline inventory processes.

Analyze Market Trends
-Keep up with industry trends, market shifts, and new suppliers to enhance procurement decisions and stay competitive.

Leverage Data for Decisions
-Collaborate with Data Analytics to use purchasing and market data for strategic decision-making, vendor selection, and margin improvement.


Requirements:

Experience
- 10–15 years in aviation aftermarket procurement with a strong track record in brokering and department management.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strategic mindset
- Proficient in ERP systems like Salesforce and AvSight
- In-depth understanding of aviation industry practices

Travel
- Open to frequent travel for supplier meetings, trade shows, and regular on-site presence in Seattle headquarters.
