About the Opportunity:
Our client, a reputable full-service aircraft management and charter company based in Morristown, NJ, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Operations to lead their Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations, ensuring strict adherence to FAA regulations, industry standards, and company protocols.
- Implement and uphold company operational policies and procedures, focusing on continuous improvement and best practices.
- Lead and advocate for comprehensive company training and safety programs, promoting a culture of safety and learning.
- Maintain qualification and currency as a pilot on aircraft such as the G550, G650, Global 5000, or Global 6500.
- Execute on-site responsibilities in Morristown, NJ or Wilmington, DE, with potential for remote work as needed.
- Exhibit strong leadership, fostering a motivated and cohesive team environment to achieve operational success.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience as a Director of Operations in Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations.
- In-depth knowledge of Part 91 and 135 regulatory requirements.
- Proven operations management expertise with strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent leadership qualities and decision-making skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work setting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Type rating or experience in operating G550, G650, Global 5000, or Global 6500 aircraft.
