A&P Mechanic

Join our client's team as an A&P Mechanic overseeing the maintenance and repair of aircraft components to ensure airworthiness. You will play a crucial role in ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, in compliance with regulations and customer requirements. As an A&P Mechanic, you will not only perform maintenance tasks but also provide training, mentorship, and guidance to your assigned team. Responsibilities:

Review and ensure completion of maintenance tasks in accordance with federal regulations and company policies.
Lead maintenance, preventative maintenance, and approvals for aircraft components.
Conduct crew meetings to promote effective communication and ensure work, safety, and quality standards.
Order parts, maintain material inventory, and ensure timely submission of engineering requests.
Mentor and develop technical and leadership skills within the team.
Identify and suggest process improvements for increased efficiency.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety requirements and regulations.
Monitor and manage labor hours and resources to optimize efficiency.
Provide regular feedback, performance coaching, and handle disciplinary matters as needed.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor on task prioritization and completion.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of recent commercial aircraft maintenance or MRO experience.
Repairman, Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
Strong communication skills and ability to mentor and guide team members effectively.
Proficiency in reading and understanding technical documents and regulations.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems efficiently.
Experience in managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of aircraft systems and major components.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and basic PC skills.
