Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the review and management of work orders for each aircraft in the hangar.
- Execute maintenance tasks to uphold the functionality of the fleet.
- Ensure all shop tools and supplies are accounted for after each shift.
- Enforce stringent safety rules, utilizing your knowledge of FARs to verify aircraft airworthiness.
- Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring the timely return of aircraft to service.
- Communicate maintenance objectives to your team and update the Repair Station Manager on progress and needs.
- Mentor technicians, providing on-the-job training to enhance their skills.
- Manage resource availability and escalate issues to the Repair Station Manager when necessary.
- Conduct troubleshooting and ensure adherence to repair schedules.
- Maintain meticulous records of task completion and ensure documentation is accurate.
- Train team members on the use of special tools and equipment.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of maintenance facilities.
- Onboard new hires, training them on essential equipment and protocols.
Requirements:
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate (A&P Certificate).
- Comprehensive understanding of aircraft mechanical systems and FAA regulations.
- Preferred training on Citation XL and Falcon aircraft.
- Proficient in ATA codes with excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Proven leadership with strong communication capabilities.
