Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the review and management of work orders for each aircraft in the hangar.
  • Execute maintenance tasks to uphold the functionality of the fleet.
  • Ensure all shop tools and supplies are accounted for after each shift.
  • Enforce stringent safety rules, utilizing your knowledge of FARs to verify aircraft airworthiness.
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring the timely return of aircraft to service.
  • Communicate maintenance objectives to your team and update the Repair Station Manager on progress and needs.
  • Mentor technicians, providing on-the-job training to enhance their skills.
  • Manage resource availability and escalate issues to the Repair Station Manager when necessary.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and ensure adherence to repair schedules.
  • Maintain meticulous records of task completion and ensure documentation is accurate.
  • Train team members on the use of special tools and equipment.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of maintenance facilities.
  • Onboard new hires, training them on essential equipment and protocols.


Requirements:
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate (A&P Certificate).
  • Comprehensive understanding of aircraft mechanical systems and FAA regulations.
  • Preferred training on Citation XL and Falcon aircraft.
  • Proficient in ATA codes with excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven leadership with strong communication capabilities.
