About the Role:
Total Aviation Staffing is seeking a VFR Pilot for a Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) operation in Chillicothe, Missouri. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine advanced piloting skills with life-saving missions. Key Responsibilities:
Operate BH407 VFR/NVG helicopters under CAMTS guidelines.
Ensure safe and efficient flight operations for HAA missions, including 24-hour day/night rotations.
Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight checks, adhering to safety protocols.
Participate in community outreach programs and uphold company policies.
Assist with the loading and unloading of patients and medical equipment as needed
.Support the Safety Management System (SMS) and company initiatives like Destination Zero.

Qualifications:
Licenses and Certifications: Commercial Helicopter License with Instrument Rating.
First Class Medical Certification.
Flight Experience:2,000 total flight hours (1,500 helicopter, 1,000 PIC helicopter, 500 turbine helicopter).100 hours unaided night operations or 50 hours unaided + 100 hours NVG.
Physical Requirements: Must meet a body weight limit of 235 lbs.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs for assisting with equipment and patient transport.
Preferred Experience:BH407 qualifications, EMS experience, and night vision goggle operations are a plus. 

Compensation & Benefits:
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $50,000.Additional Incentives: Shift bonuses, annual safety and performance bonuses.
Housing Provided: Off-duty housing available for pilots.
Schedule: 7 days on/7 days off rotation.
