Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair avionics discrepancies using approved technical data.
- Conduct operational checks and functional testing on complex avionics systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical wiring, data buses, and system integration issues.
- Perform scheduled inspections and support unscheduled maintenance events.
- Maintain accurate logbook entries and work order documentation.
- Fabricate wiring, configure systems, and support avionics upgrades and modifications.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and participate in inspection activities.
- Maintain test equipment and stay current with service publications.
- Support interior connectivity systems as needed.
Requirements
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- 3–5 years of avionics experience on turbine aircraft.
- Strong knowledge of digital avionics systems, EFIS, FMS, autopilot, and integrated flight decks.
- Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and aircraft schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and system integration skills.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Preferred:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
- Experience working on Learjet aircraft, such as Lear 60, 55, or 35.
