Our client, a leader in air medical services, is seeking an experienced Senior A&P Mechanic to join their dedicated team in Safford, AZ. Responsibilities:
  • Review and evaluate daily maintenance and inspection requirements to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
  • Report unusual situations to the Lead Mechanic that may require schedule changes, additional manpower, or technical assistance.
  • Oversee aircraft maintenance at field bases, managing stock levels and requisitioning necessary spare parts.
  • Prepare and certify aircraft logs and maintenance forms in compliance with FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate entries in RAMCO for work packages, status sheets, and component removals or installations.
  • Coordinate effectively with the Lead Mechanic, AMBS, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor and manage parts inventory, recommending changes or updates when needed.
  • Manage and maintain company-provided tools, ensuring all required calibrations are current.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 
Requirements:
  • High school diploma.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance as a Certified Mechanic.
  • Basic communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including strength and flexibility tests (must be able to lift up to 100 lbs), drug screening, and background check.
  • For Roving Maintenance Team: proficiency in sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting and repair.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, and work night shifts as required.
