Responsibilities:
  • Review and evaluate daily maintenance and inspection requirements to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
  • Report any unusual situations to the Lead Mechanic that may require scheduling or aircraft adjustments.
  • Oversee maintenance activities at field bases, ensuring the safety and security of all assets.
  • Prepare, certify, and maintain maintenance reports, logs, and inspections in compliance with FAA and company standards.
  • Keep detailed and accurate maintenance records and inventory updates in RAMCO.
  • Coordinate with the Lead Mechanic, AMBS, and other key personnel to ensure timely task completion.
  • Monitor and manage parts inventory, recommending adjustments when necessary.
  • Ensure all company-provided tools are properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • At least 2 years of certified aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Strong communication and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including strength and flexibility assessment, drug screening, and background check.
  • For Roving Maintenance Team roles: proficiency in sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting and repair.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, often on short notice.
  • Availability to work night shifts as required by maintenance schedules.
