Responsibilities:
  • Review and evaluate daily maintenance and inspection tasks to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
  • Notify the Lead Mechanic of any unusual issues that may require schedule or aircraft changes.
  • Oversee maintenance operations at field bases, managing assigned aircraft and maintaining adequate stock for repairs.
  • Prepare and certify aircraft logs and maintenance documentation to meet FAA and company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with RAMCO system entries, including work packages and component installations.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Lead Mechanic and team members to ensure timely job completion.
  • Manage and monitor parts inventory, recommending adjustments to stock levels as needed.
  • Maintain and calibrate company-provided special tools according to established schedules.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified mechanic.
  • Strong communication and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to pass pre-placement physical exams and required screenings.
  • Experience in sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting (preferred for roving maintenance team members).
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work night shifts as needed.
