Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor warehouse and quality control teams to achieve operational goals and exceed customer expectations.
- Oversee the receiving, inspection, storage, and distribution of aviation materials while ensuring FAA and ASA compliance.
- Develop staffing and training plans that promote safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- Manage inventory systems, maintain accurate records, and implement process improvements.
- Lead quality control initiatives by reviewing inspections, documentation, and resolving discrepancies.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring proper packaging and documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, safety, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote safe material handling practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of aviation warehouse or aviation aftermarket experience.
- At least 3 years of leadership or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and ASA standards.
- Experience with inventory management systems; Avsight ERP experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
