About the Opportunity:
Join our client, a dynamic and technician-led MRO and charter operator, as an Aircraft Maintenance Manager at Gwinnett County Airport in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the maintenance shop, ensuring efficiency and precision.
- Manage planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks and track work orders accurately.
- Administer EBIS 3 and Veryon maintenance tracking systems to maintain FAA compliance.
- Coordinate with partner organizations (e.g., SWAS and Southwest Aviation Services) to support maintenance operations.
- Lead quality assurance initiatives using the double-mechanic review standard.
- Recruit, train, and mentor junior mechanics to support team development.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and assist with shop maintenance work when needed.
Requirements:
- Experience managing aircraft maintenance operations in an MRO or similar environment.
- Proficiency with EBIS 3 and/or Veryon maintenance tracking systems (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of FAA maintenance documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Strong organizational and operational management skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with technicians, vendors, and partner organizations.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (preferred).
- 7–10+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, including leadership roles.
- Familiarity with turboprop aircraft such as King Air, Cessna Citation, and PT6-powered aircraft.
