Ground Service Equipment Technician Full Time

Our client, a leading company in aviation ground support equipment services, is hiring a Ground Service Equipment Technician to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot the ground support equipment used in aviation operations, ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently. Department: Maintenance.

Key responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines; clean and service parts; oil and lubricate moving parts.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct inspections for safety compliance; rapidly repair equipment as needed.
- Record, report, and replace worn or damaged parts.
- Document maintenance activities and organize shop areas.
- Coordinate repairs with maintenance staff; train junior mechanics as needed.
- Travel to service customers in the service area as needed.

Schedule: full-time, Sunday to Thursday, 2:30pm-11pm, OT available. On-site in Orlando, FL. No relocation assistance.
Pay: $28-33/hr (non-exempt).

Open to transferable mechanical backgrounds (diesel, hydraulic systems); no direct aviation experience needed, training provided.
Work environment: outdoor work around heavy machinery in varying weather; prolonged standing and walking; lift up to 30 lbs unassisted.
