GSE Service Technician Full Time

Our client, a leading company in aviation ground support equipment services, is hiring a GSE Service Technician to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot the ground support equipment used in aviation operations, keeping equipment safe and efficient to support aircraft ground operations. Department: Maintenance.


Key responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on ground support equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct inspections for compliance with safety standards; develop solutions to rectify equipment issues promptly.
- Order and install replacement parts and ensure equipment safety standards are met.
- Clean, organize, and maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
- Coordinate repair activities with other maintenance staff to minimize downtime; train junior mechanics as needed.
- Work onsite at customer locations as needed (travel within the service area).

Schedule: full-time, Monday to Friday, 8a-5p. On-site in Plainview, NY. Relocation assistance available.
Pay: $33-35/hr (non-exempt).

Work environment: outdoor work around heavy machinery in varying weather; prolonged standing and walking; lift up to 30 lbs unassisted.
