Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Install and troubleshoot communication, navigation, and radar systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on avionics equipment.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for repairs and installations.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to resolve avionics-related issues.
- Document maintenance activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Stay informed on industry standards and technologies related to avionics systems.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of avionics systems and proficiency with electronic diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Good communication skills for team collaboration and documentation.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; FAA-approved avionics technician program preferred.
- Certification: FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in avionics maintenance, preferably in a Part 145 repair station.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and safety practices in aviation maintenance.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
