Responsibilities:
- Comprehend and adhere to all relevant airworthiness requirements as outlined in Part 43 of 14 CFR and the company manual.
- Execute avionics maintenance, alterations, and installations on aircraft using prescribed methods, techniques, and company procedures.
- Utilize tools, equipment, and calibrated test apparatus to achieve industry-standard work completion.
- Remain familiar with maintenance methods and equipment applicable to assigned tasks.
- Initiate and manage forms, tags, and associated job paperwork.
- Communicate any non-conformities with airworthiness standards to supervisors or management.
- Coordinate with inspection personnel to ensure continuity and expedite task completion.
- Conduct written and verbal turnovers as necessary to maintain work progression.
- Confirm that precision tools and test equipment are calibrated and functional.
- Strictly follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
- Use current instructions and possess adequate personal hand tools for assigned tasks.
- Participate in training programs, achieving required competency levels.
- Accurately document work performed, maintaining quality and integrity.
Requirements:
- Preferably hold a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant License with no infractions and recent experience on turbine-powered aircraft.
- Factory or equivalent training on Gulfstream, Falcon, LearJet, Challenger, Hawker, or Citation aircraft is preferred.
- Experience with Part 145 FAA-approved repair stations is required; Part 135 experience is a plus.
- Inspection Authorization and FCC License are advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Five years of aircraft maintenance experience is preferred.
- Exhibit superior customer focus, strong communication skills, and a dedication to excellence.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and ensure cross-departmental collaboration as required.
