Overview of the Role:

As the Assistant Director of Maintenance, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of the client's fleet, operating under FAR 135. Reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance, you'll ensure compliance with current FAA regulations and help oversee field maintenance operations. Your contributions will directly support the company’s mission to provide life-saving services with precision and reliability. 

Responsibilities:
Monitor and oversee daily activities at field bases to ensure compliance and timely repair of AOG Aircraft.
Coordinate and guide field maintenance, assisting with oversight and operational readiness.
Advise Maintenance Managers on aircraft maintenance and personnel activities, ensuring adequate staffing.
Keep senior leadership informed about unusual problems or conditions affecting operations.
Manage inventory, including parts stock, special tools, and ground support equipment, in coordination with maintenance leadership.
Assist in administering the MEL Program and Mechanical Interrupted Flight Reports.
Conduct visits and meetings with field base personnel to ensure alignment with company standards and goals.
Ensure compliance with the Aircraft Cosmetic Program and support self-reporting and corrective action processes.
Coordinate special flight maintenance permits as needed.
Collaborate across departments to establish new bases and respond to RFPs.
Participate in board hearings and planning meetings, providing insights and recommendations for maintenance operations.
Maintain and update Operations Specifications aligned with company guidelines and objectives.
