About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leading regional airline and wholly owned subsidiary of a major carrier, is seeking a dynamic Director of Crew Resources. Responsibilities:
  • Manages Daily Operations: Oversees crew scheduling, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and company standards.
  • Strategic Planning: Establishes goals and strategies for the scheduling team, including monthly staffing grids.
  • Disruption Management: Proactively identifies and solves operational disruptions, collaborating with the Integrated Operations Center (IOC) during irregular operations.
  • Union & FAA Liaison: Maintains strong relationships with union leadership (ALPA/AFA) and the FAA to ensure compliance and resolve issues.
  • System & Policy Development: Drives the development and improvement of crew scheduling systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Provides direction, coaching, and performance management for the crew scheduling team.

Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to Director of Integrated Operations Center (IOC).

Authorities: None

Supervisory Responsibility:  This is a supervisory position

Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in crew planning or scheduling is required along with having previous experience in managing a crew scheduling or related department.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Experience in Crew Tracking System and Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English.
  • If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US.
