About the Opportunity:
Join our client, a leading figure in the New Jersey-based sector, committed to excellence in their innovative business endeavors. In this role, you’ll take the helm as a Piper M700 Fury Pilot in Command for a privately owned aircraft, operating under Part 91. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your piloting skills in both business and personal settings, traveling across the U.S. in a dynamic and integral position.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the Piper M700 Fury as Pilot in Command, ensuring full compliance with FAA regulations and owner policies.
- Conduct comprehensive flight planning: route selection, performance checks, weather, and fuel planning.
- Maintain proficiency in IFR, high-altitude, and single-pilot operations using Garmin G3000/HALO/Autoland systems.
- Coordinate and schedule aircraft maintenance and inspections, maintaining accurate records and logbooks.
- Assist in securing and managing hangar space; support operations for other owner aircraft as needed.
- Ensure the aircraft’s presentation meets “show plane” standards; manage fueling, ground handling, and pre-trip preparations.
- Engage professionally with the owner and passengers, clearly communicating trip planning and safety information.
Requirements:
- FAA Private or Commercial Pilot Certificate (Commercial preferred).
- Valid Instrument Rating and endorsements for high-performance, complex, and high-altitude operations.
- Minimum Third-Class FAA medical (Second-Class preferred).
- Meet currency requirements for passenger carriage and IFR operations.
- Willingness to complete PA-46/M-class initial training; commit to owner-provided recurrent training.
- Total flight time of 1,000–1,500+ hours, with significant PIC and turbine/turboprop experience.
- Preference for experience with PA-46 series or equivalent single-pilot turbine aircraft.
- Demonstrated recent single-pilot IFR experience in complex aircraft.
