Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior A&P Mechanic - Medium/Heavy to join the team in Redding, California. This role is vital in ensuring the airworthiness and operational readiness of the fleet. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and evaluate daily maintenance and inspections to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
Communicate with Lead Mechanic regarding unusual situations, schedule changes, or technical assistance
.Oversee aircraft maintenance and stock levels at field bases, ensuring proper security of company assets.
Prepare detailed reports, requisitions, and inventories while certifying compliance with FAA regulations.
Ensure all work is documented in RAMCO and other systems as required.
Maintain and recommend adjustments to parts inventory levels. Preserve and calibrate company-provided special tools.
Perform and assist with sheet metal repairs and avionics troubleshooting as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective job completion. 

Qualifications:

FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience as a Certified Mechanic.
Basic communication and computer skills.
Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including lifting up to 100 pounds, drug screening, and background checks.
Experience in sheet metal repair and avionics troubleshooting is a plus.
Willingness to work night shifts and travel frequently as required.

Compensation and Benefits:

Potential Annual Earnings: $82,620 - $116,323 ($34.54 - $48.63/hour).
Bonuses: Up to $25,000 sign-on bonus (dependent on overtime hours) and a 15% location bonus. Comprehensive benefits, including shift bonuses, incentives, and annual safety and employee bonuses.

Schedule and Location:
7 days on, 7 days off (7&7).
Candidates must live within a one-hour drive or 60 miles from the base.
Travel between bases is required.
