They have been a pioneer in creating new markets and services for space-based businesses. In 2017, the company announced its long-term plans for the Nanoracks Space Outpost Program, which is dedicated to repurposing the upper stages of launch vehicles as commercial habitats that can be inhabited by humans or robots. This program has the potential to open up a whole new era of exploration and commercial activity throughout the solar system.

Their Staffing Challenge

Nanoracks was struggling to find qualified candidates for some of their harder-to-fill positions. They work with countless other recruitment agencies but hadn’t had success with the candidates that they were providing, due to the complex technical nature of most of their positions. They needed to find an agency that understand the Aerospace industry and had a pool of qualified candidates for roles like Aerospace Project Manager, Avionics Engineer, Mission Manager, Commercial Spaceflight Operations Engineer, and Systems Engineer.

Our Solution

Total Aviation Staffing’s in-depth understanding of aviation and aerospace positions was one of the key components to the success we had with NanoRacks.

Our comprehensive search & selection recruitment and attraction model. Designed specifically for aerospace specialists took approximately 4-6 weeks from the research stage to offer and acceptance.

It took about 1 week to produce a shortlist of pre-vetted and interviewed applicants to be reviewed.
