Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive inspections and maintenance on aircraft to meet FAA regulations and company standards.
  • Execute scheduled and unscheduled repairs for airframes, engines, and other components.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, proposing effective solutions to restore functionality.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of all maintenance activities for regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
  • Mentor junior mechanics, fostering a culture of learning and development.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of current industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Keep tools and equipment in optimal condition, promptly reporting any issues.
  • Support the repair station's operations by adapting to various tasks as needed.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; FAA-approved A&P program completion preferred.
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years in aviation maintenance, with Part 145 experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Physical capacity for demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and standing for long durations.
  • Solid knowledge of safety practices and regulatory compliance in aviation maintenance.
