Responsibilities:

Execute specialized functions and complex assessments, diagnoses, therapies, and emergency treatments for patients transported by rotor-wing, fixed-wing, and/or ground units.
Accurately document assessment and treatment details during stabilization and transport.
Record complete and precise billing information for patient transports.
Facilitate effective and timely communication between management, internal teams, and external customers.
Engage in PR and marketing efforts, supporting the company’s outreach initiatives.
Enhance your knowledge base by attending mandatory meetings, chart and equipment reviews, skill labs, clinical rotations, and continuing education sessions.
Fulfill all annual competency requirements.
Maintain an active paramedic certification and all other required certifications.

Requirements:

Must hold an active paramedic certification in the state of employment.
A minimum of three years of current paramedic field experience in a busy 911/pre-hospital service (five years preferred).
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, and PHTLS/ITLS, with NRP and instructor certifications preferred.
Obtain FP-C within twenty-four months of hire.
Prior flight or transport experience is desirable.
Successfully complete the education/orientation program.
Possess effective human relations skills and basic computer skills for electronic communication and charting.
Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
Pass a pre-placement physical exam including a functional capacity assessment, drug screening, and background check.
Maintain a body weight under 235 lbs.
