About the Opportunity:

Our client, a distinguished leader in the private aviation charter industry, is seeking a proficient Aircraft Mechanic (A&P) to join their esteemed maintenance team. This position offers a remarkable chance for experienced professionals eager to engage in hands-on, meticulous maintenance of the Beechjet 400A and Hawker 800XP aircraft, ensuring operations adhere strictly to FAA standards. This role is ideal for A&P mechanics who are passionate about precision and safety and are looking to excel within a high-performance aviation operation.


Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on corporate jets, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Accurately complete maintenance records, work orders, and return-to-service documentation in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft discrepancies using wiring diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and calibrated testing equipment.
  • Communicate clearly with lead mechanics and management regarding aircraft status, schedules, and operational readiness.
  • Properly use, maintain, and account for tools, equipment, and inspection aids within the maintenance department.

 
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) License under 14 CFR Part 65.
  • Have 3–5 years of experience in corporate or general aviation maintenance (Beechjet 400A and/or Hawker 800XP experience preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using calibrated testing equipment.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work varied hours based on operational needs.
  • Willingness to relocate to or reliably commute to Fort Lauderdale, FL.
