About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the aviation maintenance industry, is seeking an A&P Mechanic for Business Jets to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:

Perform regular and detailed maintenance on business jets to ensure airworthiness.
Estimate work time and materials for assigned projects to manage efficient workflow.
Analyze blueprints, work orders, and sketches to troubleshoot and repair any aircraft issues.
Ensure that all mechanical systems are in optimal condition before flight.
Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and related documentation.
Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft components, identifying defects or necessary repairs.
Replace or repair defective or worn parts, ensuring compliance with FAA standards.
Install new parts to enhance aircraft performance or replace recalled components efficiently.
Conduct sheet metal repairs and other maintenance tasks as required.
Communicate effectively with pilots and crew to resolve mechanical problems based on their reports.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and must be 18 years or older.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant License with extensive knowledge of mechanical systems.
Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
Thorough understanding of FAA regulations, IPM, and ATA codes.
Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. and provide two forms of Federal Identification.
Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and subject to drug and alcohol testing.
Preferred: 4–7 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, especially with Business Corporate Jets.
