About the Opportunity:
Join our client, a leader in the aviation industry, as an AMR Pilot to support the offshore oil & gas sector. Your contributions will ensure the seamless and secure transport of personnel and equipment, making a significant impact on energy production and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate assigned aircraft in compliance with operational standards and applicable regulations.
- Prioritize safety and customer service in all activities, both on and off the aircraft.
- Maintain situational awareness of weather, NOTAMs, sea state, and offshore facility status.
- Manage passenger and aircraft movements, ensuring compliance and safety.
- Execute thorough flight planning, preflight checks, and fuel management.
- Accurately maintain electronic and paper records, including logs and duty sheets.
- Report and document any mechanical irregularities and ensure aircraft airworthiness.
- Communicate effectively with customers, representing our client professionally.
- Primarily operate in the Gulf of Mexico but remain available for international dispatches.
- Stay informed on all operational and safety procedures and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of offshore PIC experience.
- Minimum of 250 hours in Multi-Engine Multi-Crew PIC in offshore operations.
- At least 500 hours of Multi-Engine Multi-Crew PIC.
- Compliance with 14 CFR 135.243 and holding a 1st class medical certificate.
- Completion of a screening questionnaire to assess eligibility.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and manage a varied workload.
- Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with a Helicopter Instrument rating.
- Preferred: 1 year in the Offshore Oil and Gas environment, ATP certification, 1,500 hours PIC helicopter, 100 hours PIC in the past 12 months, 250 PIC Turbine Time, and experience with S76, HAA NVG.
