Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft in accordance with FARs, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.
  • Install Garmin G5000 avionics systems and various Wi-Fi systems per manufacturer guidelines.
  • Perform pre-installation testing and diagnostics of avionics components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve avionics and Wi-Fi system issues to ensure proper integration and functionality.
  • Conduct post-installation inspections and testing to verify safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Test avionics systems under simulated or operational conditions to confirm performance.
  • Complete maintenance documentation and records accurately and timely.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to support high-quality aircraft maintenance operations.
  • Safeguard and properly manage company tools and assets.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Participate in line maintenance duties and road trips as required.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development.

 
Requirements:
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and task cards.
  • Experience with sheet metal, fiberglass, and composite repairs.
  • Proficiency in estimating labor hours and material requirements.
  • Solid understanding of aircraft fasteners, systems, and mechanical principles.
  • Mechanical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to explain equipment issues and solutions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or under pressure.
  • Computer proficiency preferred, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Scissor Lift and Forklift certifications preferred.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties and flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
