Responsibilities

Perform fluorescent and visible dye penetrant inspections on aluminum castings in accordance with approved procedures.
Set up, apply, and inspect parts using water-washable and post-emulsifiable penetrant methods.
Interpret and evaluate indications based on customer specifications, identifying shrinkage, porosity, cracks, and other defects.
Classify, document, and manage nonconformances, escalating issues to MRB when required.
Maintain process control by monitoring system performance, inspecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
Train and guide Level I personnel to support quality and process consistency.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve product quality and reduce defects.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Requirements

Current or previous Level II PT certification, or applicable training and experience to obtain certification promptly.
Hands-on experience performing fluorescent penetrant inspections on aluminum castings.
Proficiency in penetrant process setup, inspection, and documentation.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Ability to meet required vision standards.
Approximately 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.

Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities.
