Responsibilities
  • Perform fluorescent and visible dye penetrant inspections on aluminum castings in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Set up, apply, and inspect parts using water-washable and post-emulsifiable penetrant methods.
  • Interpret and evaluate indications based on customer specifications, identifying shrinkage, porosity, cracks, and other defects.
  • Classify, document, and manage nonconformances, escalating issues to MRB when required.
  • Maintain process control by monitoring system performance, inspecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
  • Train and guide Level I personnel to support quality and process consistency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve product quality and reduce defects.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

 
Requirements
  • Current or previous Level II PT certification, or applicable training and experience to obtain certification promptly.
  • Hands-on experience performing fluorescent penetrant inspections on aluminum castings.
  • Proficiency in penetrant process setup, inspection, and documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to meet required vision standards.
  • Approximately 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities.
