Total Aviation Staffing is hiring a Hawker 800XP Pilot in Command for our client, a professional corporate flight department based in New Braunfels, Texas.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced corporate aviation pilot who values safety, professionalism, consistency, and high-quality passenger service. In this role, you will operate a Hawker 800XP in a Part 91 environment, supporting a predictable flight schedule with approximately 150 flight hours annually.
Missions are primarily domestic, with travel across the central and western United States, including destinations such as Mexico, Colorado, California, Kansas, and Arkansas. This role is ideal for a safety-focused PIC who enjoys corporate aviation, values a stable flight department environment, and understands the importance of discretion, preparation, and excellent service.
What You’ll Do
As the Hawker 800XP PIC, you will be responsible for safe aircraft operation, flight planning, regulatory compliance, passenger experience, and overall mission execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as Pilot in Command of the Hawker 800XP.
- Operate all flights in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, and Part 91 operating standards.
- Execute all phases of flight planning and aircraft operation safely and professionally.
- Verify aircraft airworthiness, readiness, documentation, and required equipment before each flight.
- Coordinate with maintenance providers, FBOs, passengers, and support personnel to ensure smooth trip execution.
- Maintain compliance with FAA regulations, corporate SOPs, aircraft currency, and training requirements.
- Complete required flight documentation, records, and reporting accurately and on time.
- Deliver a high level of customer service to executive passengers.
- Maintain professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment at all times.
- Assist with aircraft cleanliness, stocking, presentation, and overall readiness.
- Support a safe, efficient, and polished corporate aviation operation.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is a professional corporate pilot with strong judgment, excellent communication skills, and a steady commitment to safety. You should be comfortable managing all aspects of Part 91 flight operations while providing a polished passenger experience.

Required Qualifications
- ATP Certificate.
- First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
- Minimum of 3,000 total flight hours.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours Pilot in Command.
- Minimum of 500 hours multi-engine turbine time.
- Valid passport with ability to travel internationally, including Mexico.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hawker 800XP type rating preferred.
- Previous Hawker 800XP operating experience.
- Part 91 corporate aviation experience.
- Experience operating into Mexico.
- Strong executive passenger interaction and customer service skills.
- Stable employment history.
- Experience working in a professional corporate flight department.
- Strong understanding of aircraft readiness, trip coordination, and executive aviation expectations.
