Job Summary:
As a Senior Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for meticulously inspecting products, ensuring they meet stringent specifications and quality standards. Your role will be pivotal in collaborating with production teams to address and resolve any quality-related concerns, thereby enhancing the efficiency and excellence of our client's manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
-Conduct detailed inspections of products to verify compliance with specifications
-Identify and address quality issues promptly and effectively
-Collaborate with production teams to streamline quality control processes
-Document inspection results and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders
-Uphold a culture of continuous improvement in quality assurance practices
Qualifications:
-Zeiss CMM and/or Calypso software experience (Required minimum 2yrs exp.)
-High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in quality assurance or related field preferred.
-5 years’ experience as a quality inspector in a machine shop or manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of machining processes and metal fabrication techniques.
-Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. ASME 14.5Y GD&T is (Required)
-Experience using a variety of precision measuring instruments and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
-Knowledge of quality management systems and standards, such as AS9100, and familiarity with inspection techniques and methodologies.
-Previous experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
-Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications
-Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
-Certification in quality assurance is a plus
