About the Opportunity:

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily crew scheduling while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, CBAs, and company policies.
- Set and drive strategic goals for the Crew Scheduling team.
- Proactively identify, communicate, and escalate operational disruptions.
- Partner with the Director of the Integrated Operations Center (IOC) to manage irregular operations and recovery plans.
- Develop monthly staffing grids to optimize crew resources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with union leadership.
- Represent the company on the ALPA/AFA Grievance Review Committee.
- Support contract negotiations and analyze proposed changes.
- Encourage cross-functional collaboration to improve operations.
- Update and maintain Crew Scheduling Policies and Procedures Manuals.
- Confirm monthly hotel bookings and arrange additional accommodations as needed.
- Lead the development of crew scheduling systems, programs, and applications.
- Mentor, train, and evaluate team performance.
- Promote a strong culture of customer service among crew members.
- Oversee the effectiveness of scheduling and reporting systems.
- Develop pay-related procedures in coordination with Crew Pay.
- Ensure compliance with Security and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in crew scheduling or crew planning, including department leadership.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with crew management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
