About the Opportunity:

Our client, a prominent leader in the private aviation charter industry, is in search of a dedicated Lead Aircraft Mechanic to join their team and ensure the highest standard of safety and excellence. With a fleet that includes the Beechjet 400A and Hawker 800XP, this role offers a stellar opportunity for candidates who are eager to mentor a maintenance team and maintain state-of-the-art aircraft in full compliance with FAA standards. Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute maintenance on corporate jets, ensuring top-tier safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide the maintenance team, enforcing strict compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
  • Oversee maintenance records, work orders, and return-to-service documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with management regarding aircraft status, schedules, and operational readiness.
  • Maintain accountability for tools, equipment, and inspection aids within the department.

 
Requirements:
  • A&P License (Airframe & Powerplant) under 14 CFR Part 65.
  • Minimum 10+ years of corporate aviation maintenance experience.
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using calibrated testing equipment.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work varied hours based on operational demands.
  • Experience with Beechjet 400A or Hawker 800XP aircraft.
  • Must relocate to or reliably commute to Fort Lauderdale, FL.
